Jaynee's Promises

  1. I will fight any bill that increases spending or debt and support any bill that reduces taxes.
  2. I am a political outsider. I owe no favors and no one owes me any.
  3. I am a Constitutional Republican and on my installation to office “will solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
  4. My integrity cannot be bought, sold or traded.
  5. The sovereign rights of the states shall not be usurped by the federal government and I will fight any legislation that tries to do so.
  6. I will term limit myself to 12 years maximum, while understanding that “the people’ can term limit me at any election.
  7. I will fight to remove governmental control and regulation from private citizens' lives. Just as the states lay claim to their sovereignty, so do the people. We have the right to make choices over our lives and the rights to live with the consequences of those choices, good or bad.
  8. I will be a good steward of your money and do everything in my power to convince others to do the same.
  9. My husband is a disabled vet and I have 2 nephews in the service. Our troops put their lives on the line for us. It is our responsibility as a nation to make sure they have the best healthcare available. I believe our vets should be able to get healthcare ~at no cost to them for service related issues~ from any provider of their choice.
  10. I believe that to sit back and do nothing while our country is destroyed from within is paramount to treason.

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs, which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell numbers..... And if there are those that cannot subscribe to these principals, then let them go their way."

~Ronald Reagan
